Bloomin Marvellous

This evening I walked along the waggonway from Monkseaton, passed the Beehive pub (it wasn't easy) on to Holywell Dene, and then back along the waggonway. Highlights were Wheatear, Whitethroat, taking nectar from blossoming buckthorn, and Grey Partridge. Three more for the OFFH list.

    Yes, the Whitethroat pics ARE lush. Yer giving that camera some welly now Tim and getting some very nice results.

    great whitethroat pics, been trying for 3 days now and failing miserably, tracked one for 10mins at Prestwick this morning and still didnt get a shot off. Might try your walk sometime.
